Claude is great at writing the brief, but it can’t draw. It has no image generator of its own, and Flux isn’t built in. The fix takes about a minute: add AiWings as a connector, and Claude can make Flux Fast images in the same chat where you planned them, at a single credit each.
What you need
- A Claude account on a plan that lets you add custom connectors.
- An AiWings account (sign in with Google). Usage comes from your AiWings credits.
- About a minute.
Step 1: Add AiWings to Claude
You only do this once. After that, Flux is available in every Claude chat with the connector turned on.
- 1In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.
- 2Name it AiWings and paste the URL below.
- 3Click Connect, then sign in to AiWings and allow access.
- 4In a new chat, make sure AiWings is turned on in the tools menu.

Name the model in your request. Claude writes a detailed prompt, calls the AiWings image tool and shows the result in the chat. It’s a good idea to let Claude plan first: ask it to sharpen your idea, then generate with Flux.
Use Flux Fast to make a 21:9 panorama of a huge whale made of northern lights swimming through a dark sky above a frozen lake.Flux Fast makes an image in about two seconds, so you can explore fast. Here are real, unedited results:

Step 3: Let Claude run the exploration
Claude is good at turning one idea into many. Ask it to write several different prompts and generate them all with Flux Fast, then choose the best one to redo with a bigger model.
Come up with five very different concepts for a poster about the four seasons. Generate each one with Flux Fast as a 2:3 image so I can pick a direction.Five Flux Fast drafts cost five credits. Once you pick one, ask Claude to remake it with Nano Banana 2 or GPT Image at high quality.
Flux Fast at a glance
AiWings offers Flux Fast, a draft-speed model that makes an image for a single credit. It works the same way everywhere you add it:
| Model | Sizes | Reference images | Cost per image | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flux Fast | 1K | None (text only) | 1 credit ($0.01) | Drafts, quick concepts, clean product shots |
Prices are at the top-up rate of $0.01 per credit, and plans include more credits per dollar. At 1 credit ($0.01) an image you can try dozens of ideas for a dollar. To stop naming the model every time, say “make Flux Fast my default”.
Tips for Claude and Flux
- Let Claude write the prompts: ask for five different concepts before generating.
- Explore with Flux Fast, then finish the winner on a higher-quality model.
- Ask for 21:9 or 9:21 when you want a panorama or a tall composition.
- Flux Fast doesn’t edit photos, so describe the whole scene each time.
- Use a Claude Project for a brand: put your style notes in the project and every draft in it follows them.
If something doesn’t work
- Claude says it can’t make images: check that AiWings is turned on in the chat’s tools menu, then ask again.
- The connector shows no tools: remove it in Settings → Connectors and add it again with the same URL.
- Sign-in loops: allow pop-ups for claude.ai and finish the AiWings sign-in in the same browser.
- Out of credits: top up from your AiWings dashboard, then ask Claude to try again.
Bottom line
Claude can’t make images on its own, but with AiWings connected, Flux is one sentence away. The same connector also gives Claude GPT Image, Nano Banana, Imagen and Seedance video, all from one balance.
